    • SOON chains deployed on various L1s can benefit from enhanced interoperability through a uniform bridging and messaging interface, owing to the consistent use of SVM.     • SOON leverages the Decoupled SVM for its execution layer, a core innovation that separates execution from consensus.   3. Decoupled SVM:

    • We develop the Decoupled SVM framework which underpins the SOON Stack. Specifically, we decoupled the Transaction Processing Unit (TPU) in order to remove the original Solana consensus and allow for the TPU to be controlled by the rollup node, for derivation purposes. We are also able to remove vote transactions (which are not necessary for L2s), which leads to reduced data availability usage. In short, a Decoupled SVM is essential for derivation, brings greater network security and reduces DA waste.

  4. Configurable Data Availability:

    • With the integration of the SOON Stack, users have the flexibility to choose between different data availability (DA) layers, including Celestia, EigenDA, and Avail. This configurable approach allows for optimized data availability tailored to specific needs and use cases, further enhancing the versatility and robustness of blockchain networks.

    • SOON delivers superior decentralized applications (dApps) and user experiences by leveraging SVM's low-latency transaction processing and Solana’s local fee markets.
